Is there a minimum order value?
All orders placed must include one of our Fruit & Veg or Salad Boxes and have a minimum order value of £17.50. Just add your box and any add-ons and you can check-out as long as the order is £17.50 or above.
Is delivery free?
Delivery is free as long as you have reached the minimum order threshold and you are within one of the following postcodes between Southampton and Portsmouth:
PO1 – PO2 – PO3 – PO4 – PO5 – PO6 – PO7 – PO8 – PO9 – PO10 – PO11 – PO12 – PO13 – PO14 – PO15 – PO16 – PO17
SO14 – SO15 – SO16 – SO17 – SO18 – SO19 – SO30 – SO31 – SO32 – SO50 – SO51 – SO52 – SO53
How do I know you have received my order?
You should receive a confirmation email order within 15 minutes of placing your order.
If it has not arrived, please check your spam/junk folder. If there is nothing there, please call 02392 502923 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
When will my delivery arrive?
Your delivery should arrive between 8.00 am and 2.00 pm on your chosen day.
If it has not arrived by 3.00 pm, please call the office on 02392 502923.
What happens if I am not home when you deliver?
If you know you won’t be in on your chosen delivery day, please leave instructions in the ‘Order notes’ section on the checkout page to let us know where to leave your goods. Somewhere cool and safe would be ideal.
What is The Fruit Basket doing to stay Covid-19 free?
All our staff start their shift by washing their hands and having their temperature checked. They cannot start a shift if they are showing any symptoms of the coronavirus.
When delivering goods to your door, the driver will place the goods on your doorstep, knock the door and then stand well back.
Can I send a box as a gift?
Yes, just enter the details in the ‘Deliver to a different address’ option on the checkout page.
If you put a note in the ‘Order notes’ section on the checkout page stating who it is for and why you are sending it, we will try to pop a card in from you.
Can I change any items in the set boxes?
We can’t make any promises but if you add a note in the ‘Order notes’ section on the checkout page, we will do our best.
What happens if a product I have ordered is out of stock?
In the unlikely event that we are unable to fulfil your order, your order will be delivered on the requested day, with the missing item following as soon as we have it – usually the following day.
What do I do if I have a problem with my order?
We don’t always get things right so if we do make a mistake or the produce does not live up to expectations, we are very keen to put things right as soon as possible.
